Cheyenne Skatepark

UPDATE: "As a long-time patron of the skatepark in Cheyenne, I was glad to see you finally got something posted. However, the pictures must be at least 2 years old. They added a giant expansion [designed by the infamous Richard "John Doe" Johnson] - see WIDE pic below. The street stuff is 100x better than when you saw it."

I don't know what to think about this town? Not that anyone cares what I think, but...
On the one hand, you've got guns everywhere you look. I was in the super market, down the street from the skatepark, and some dude was buying some Pampers with a revolver strapped to his hip! Folks use their gun racks in this part of the world... straight up wild west.
Then, on the other hand, you got John Doe Magazine [pretty cool, actually]. "Rich" is from Cheyenne, and he's more CBGB's, dirty ashtray, angry trash-mouth than "Little House on the Prairie..." Shiiiiit, you know what I mean?
Someone in Cheyenne should put together a little indoor job - you know, nice bowl, a couple three street lines, relief from the winter, all that. Until then, the Cheyenne park will at least give you something to kick around, a place to meet your bros... the mini-ramp looks cool enough. Heading west, check out Laramie, that's a fun park. Fort Steele isn't really a park, but you might want to check it out.
Directions: Cheyenne is located in the southeast corner of Wyoming. Take Interstate 25 to Highway 30 east. Make a left [north] onto Ridge Road. Make another left [west] onto Pershing Boulevard, followed by a right onto Windmill Road. The skatepark is on the left in Brimmer Park, across the street from East High School.
