Rhodes Skatepark

* Outdoor: 'Crete / Metal [covered!]
* Free
* Trannie / Street
* Rating: On the Rhode again...
Damn, you'd think this park was hella awesome based on the number of kids that have writen us to ask about the skatepark at Rhodes.
"Hey, there is a skate park in Idaho that you don't have. Its called Rhodes Park and it has a six foot half pipe, a six foot quarter pipe, and a four foot quarter pipe. It also has a pyramid, rails [straight, kink, and bending]. It also has a concrete box and other concrete play spots."
- Scott Meissner: Jul '01
We shot this place about a year ago, but just never got around to putting up the pics until now. We did post pics of the other public park in Boise - Fort Boise - which is a lot better in my opinion. We also have pics of Lucky 88, which is currently closed [as of summer '01]. That's a bummer, 'cause Lucky was a good park.
Directions: This park is in Boise, right under the freeway off of 15th Street. Take Interstate 184 east to highway 20 [W Front St] east. Turn left onto 13th and then make another left onto Main St. Take Main St. to 15th Street and make a left. The skatepark is on 15th St. under the freeway. It's also right across the street from the "Boise City Fire Station #5," if that helps at all.
