Freestone Skatepark
|
* Outdoor: 'Crete
* Free
* Vert / Trannie / Street
* Rating: The Warden likes it...
This review of the Freestone skatepark is brought to you courtesy of Eric Warden - thanks bro! Real busy. Gotta go...
"Public skatepark, no pads required. Open from 8am-10pm.
Built by the same people that built the Chandler and Flagstaff parks [that would be Site Design Group - 480.894.6797. They also built Boulder CO and Robb Field in San Diego CA].
This is a really nice park. Has 2 nice bowls and a good street area. Street area has various ledges with metal coping, nice pyramid, and a couple of rails. Overall this is another great Arizona park. Definitely worth the time to stop by and check it out."
- Eric Warden: Aug 01
Directions: US 60 to Gilbert Road. Take Gilbert Road South to Guadalupe Road. Head east on Guadalupe to Lindsay Road. Take Lindsay south about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Freestone park will be on the left. The skatepark is located at the back of the park.
